I've owned my DC21 for about a year now and had no problems whatsoever.

It's very well designed and the accessories are superb. It's easy to handle, very powerful and looks cool!

Cylinder vacuum cleaners are extremely flexible and often come with a range of heads to allow them to get into small, tight spaces. Some people find that Cylinder vacuum cleaners aren't quite as easy to use as upright vacuum cleaners but it's a personal preference.

Cylinder vacuum cleaners are often smaller and lighter than their upright counterparts but this benefit could be argued to be off-set by the fact that an upright is generally easier to push around.
